Resilience and Sustainability in Soccer
April 21, 12 - 1 pm
With the FIFA World Cup 2026™ coming to Miami this summer, Green U wanted to invite you to reflect on the progress made by the soccer industry on climate resilience and sustainability. Sports venues like Hard Rock Stadium have been mitigating their impact on natural resources. In many instances, soccer stadiums have become a tool to adapt to a changing climate with more natural disasters and extreme conditions.
Join us and learn from a fantastic panel of experts moderated by Jennifer Roche - Director of Community & Legacy for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Miami Host Committee: Ibrahim Reyes - Puerto Rico Soccer League (bio); Sara Vite - Football for Peace (bio); Jenna DiPaolo - Ocean Conservancy (bio). The Virtual Panel will be on Zoom and will be from 12 pm to 1 pm.
